Our Team
Arch Red Sky’s ownership and management team have been in the vacation rental industry for decades, so we know from experience the challenges you face. Drawn to living in beautiful destinations, Laird worked kitchens, rental counters and delivery routes throughout the U.S. before returning home to North Carolina’s Outer Banks. As investor, banker, rental manager, general contractor and now insurer, there is little about the industry that he doesn’t have experience with. He recounts his hurricane history like a roster of old uninvited friends, taking their destruction in stride, and leading him to a heartfelt appreciation for the challenges and concerns of vacationing guests and the VRM industry.
Kim began calling the Outer Banks of North Carolina “home” in 2008. She was recruited to become the very first Arch Red Sky team member in 2010. Kim leverages her extensive vacation rental business knowledge to expertly serve and support the many valued Arch Red Sky partners along the Mid-Atlantic coast from NJ to SC, the mountains of NC, TN and GA as well as the coasts of TX and FL. Kim also serves as the 2024 – 2025 President of the North Carolina Vacation Rental Managers Association. Kim enjoys living the beach life with her husband Billy and dogs Bruiser (the favorite) and Bettis.
Born and raised on the Outer Banks, Liz’s first memories within the vacation rental industry include sweeping the floors of under-construction vacation homes built by her dad, packing linens and changing air filters in 220 vacation homes every month. Upon graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Liz moved to Aspen, Colorado for “just one ski season.” Five years later, she’s thrilled to call Colorado home. Liz enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, traveling, spending time at the beach (especially at home on the Outer Banks) and cheering on her Tar Heels.
Born in the mountains of Virginia, Leigh became a full time beach resident at the age of 6! After growing up in Virginia Beach and living in Sandbridge, VA, Leigh became a full time Outer Banker in 2000. Leigh has done it all in vacation rentals; reservations, operations, maintenance, and accounting. Leigh spends her off duty time sharing her love of gardening, boating, Christmas and travel with her husband Tony, their 3 children and their passel of cats, dogs and a lonely turtle.
